The Director-General of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, FRCN, Dr. Mansur Liman, has described training and retraining as necessary measures, towards advancing talents and professionalism in the broadcast industry. Dr Liman stated this in a message to the closing ceremony of the First Batch of 2021 Basic Courses at the National Broadcast Academy, Lagos. The Director General who was represented by the Registrar of the Academy, Mr Eugene Duru, urged the outgoing participants to be good Ambassadors of the institution.

Contributing, the Director National Broadcast Academy, Mr Ike Okere, in a message, enjoined the graduands to demonstrate competence in the broadcast industry with the new skills they acquired during their training. In a remark, the Head of Academics, Mr Aliyu Ayodele, expressed gratitude to God, for making the programme, a success, despite the challenges posed by Covid-19. A total of One Hundred and Twenty Five private participants and corporate nominees graduated from various departments. High point of the event was the presentation of testimonials to the graduands.
