Introduction
The Presentation Department focuses mainly on the acquisition of eloquence in the spoken English Language (making participants to speak right at all times) and skills in other presentation chores.
To achieve these stated objectives, five (5) regular courses are organized:
- The Basic Presentation
- The Intermediate Presentation
- Advanced Presentation
- Public Speaking
- Commentators Courses
The courses are opened to public and private radio stations as well as interested individuals with requisite qualifications. Prospective candiates must be Degree or Diploma holders. School certificate holders with credit in English Language may be considered.
Basic Presentation
The Course is designed to expose participants to modern trends in professional Radio and TV Presentation as well as provide professional skills in speaking right at all times.
The trianee presenter is expected to emerge fromthe course to run continuity and perform presentation chores with more confidence.

- Usage of Daniel Jones Pronunciation Dictionary
- Articulating Vowels and Consonants Sounds
- Presentation Techniques
- The use of connected speech features
- Script Interpretation/Delivery Tactics
- Two-week industrial attachment for practical experience
- The Basics of Broadcast Journalism and Production
- Mentoring: Veterans
Intermediate Presentation
The course is designed to improve the Presentation techniques and vocal expressions of broadcast practitioners in the 21st Century.
At the end of the course participants are expected to properly apply stress, emphasis, authority and intonation while using the weak forms effectively in presentation.

- Conducting Interviews - Personality, Vox-pop, etc
- Sight Reading and Comprehension
- The Art of Book Review
- Writing for Radio
- One week industrial attachment/practical
Advanced Presentation
The Course is designed for Senior Presentation Officers who have been in the field for at least three (3) years. At the end of the course, the participant is expected to be an all-round broadcaster who is able to supervise others effectively in the use of the spoken word after acquiring more special presentation techniques.

Commentators Course
The course is designed to impart professional skills in the different areas of ceremonial and sports commentaries.
